Tim Cook explains why there are golden iPhones, iPads and Macs

Gold iPadIf you were ever curious to find out why the Apple company launched iPhones, iPads and gold Macs, well, in an interview given to an Asian publication, Tim Cook explained the existence of these products in Apple's offer.

According to Tim Cook, the popularity of gold products in China was one of the main reasons why Apple decided to produce gold iPhones, iPads and Macs, the products being highly sought after not only in China but also in various other parts of the world.

China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are accumulated by Apple in a region that generates higher revenues than any other country or region on the globe, it being surpassed only by the USA if we look at annual revenues, this is because in the previous fiscal quarter China it surpassed only the USA in receipts.

The decision to offer a gold iPhone last year partly reflects the popularity of that color among Chinese users, he added. Greater China, which includes Taiwan and Hong Kong, is now Apple's second-largest market and has become a battleground for the company as it vies with Samsung Electronics Co. and Xiaomi Corp. for smartphone supremacy.

Considering the great importance of China, but also of the countries around it, it is clear why some of the decisions made by the Apple company have in mind the inhabitants of the respective regions, those from Cupertino having to think seriously about the income generated by those areas.

In this idea, it is not excluded that in the future Apple will offer various services especially for the respective areas and ignore countries from Europe, Australia or even Canada, but this only if the importance of the region will be as great in the future.
