Vodafone Romania announced the financial results for Q1 2015 during this morning, the mobile operator registering increases in terms of the number of customers, but also in general receipts.
According to those from Vodafone, on June 30, 2015 the operator had 8.801.590 customers, with 233.838 more than in Q1 2014, 8.189.970 among them being subscribers to mobile services, the rest to fixed ones, representing almost 10% of the total.
The general revenues of Vodafone Romania in Q1 2015 were 166,8 million euros, with 5.7% higher than in the same period last year, while vaverage revenue per customer, ARPU, is 6.1 euros, Vodafone avoiding to say if it is higher or lower than the one reported in the past.
According to those from Vodafone, the consumption of mobile data increased by 128.7% in Q1 2015 compared to Q1 2014, this in the conditions where 41.4% of Vodafone customers have subscriptions and 58.6% of them have prepaid cards, the number of the latter being increase by 0.4%.

Vodafone Romania registered a total number of 8.801.590 of clients(1) on June 30, 2015, up by 233.838, compared to the same period last year. Out of the total number of customers, 8.189.970 are users of mobile services.
Mobile ARPU of Vodafone Romania reached 6,1 Euros in the last three months, ended on June 30, 2015.
Revenues from services for the quarter ended on June 30 reached 166,8 million Euros(2), up 5,7% compared to the same period last year, in organic terms.
On June 30, 2015, Vodafone subscribers represented 41,4% of the customer base, and Vodafone Card users, 58,6%. Users of prepaid services increased by 0,4 percentage points compared to the same period last year.
