OnePlus 2 – presentation and technical specifications (Video)

OnePlus 2 technical specifications presentationOnePlus 2 was officially presented last night by the company OnePlus for users all over the world, so today we have the opportunity to see a detailed video presentation of the new Android smartphone.

In the video clip below you can see one of the few presentations made for OnePlus 2 so far, and she shows us why this smartphone, why this $330 smartphone is fully worth the money over a Samsung or HTC smartphone.

According to the OnePlus company, the OnePlus 2 smartphone has the following technical specifications:

  • 5.5 inch screen with 1080p resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels;
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor;
  • versions with 3 GB or 4 GB RAM;
  • storage space of 16 GB or 64 GB with a price difference of 50 dollars between the models;
  • 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilizer;
  • 5 megapixel front camera;
  • two-tone LED flash with laser object focusing system;
  • fingerprint reader implemented in the Home button;
  • USB-C connector.

Practically, the technical specifications of the OnePlus 2 are close to those of the top smartphones, but the price requested by the company is halved and this is extremely important for users, the difference compared to a Samsung or HTC terminal not being justified.

If we combine all this with an interesting design, the OnePlus 2 is a smartphone that can seriously compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, mainly thanks to the very low price.

If the OnePlus 2 had the same price as its competitors, then its chances of success would be reduced to zero, but at a price of 330 dollars and a well-known brand behind it, the smartphone is extremely attractive, although the number of units sold it won't be huge.

Even so, if OnePlus manages to produce enough units to cover the demand, then the OnePlus 2 will manage to outsell smartphones from much bigger companies, but it remains to be seen what will happen.
