iPhone 6S – dozens of performance tests show the power of the A9 chip

iPhone 6S Plus A9 chip performance benchmarkA few tens of minutes ago I presented the results of an apparent performance test for the A9 chip of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, suggesting that many users would experience a big disappointment in September.

The launch of the iPhone 6S is going to take place on September 18, but until then the most popular platform for testing smartphone performance reveals several dozen tests in which we are presented with what appear to be iPhone 6S Plus performance and implicitly those of iPhone 6S.

As you can see from the image above, an iPhone 6 Plus terminal is identified by Geekbench 3 as having a triple-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz that has 2 GB of RAM, its performance being 60% better than that of the current iPhone 6 Plus model.

Although Geekbench 3 identifies this terminal as an iPhone 6 Plus with an A8 chip with a triple-core processor, we are actually talking about a 6S iPhone Plus or maybe even iPhone 6S which was camouflaged by the Apple company especially for tests of this kind made by its testers.

Even if an image can be easily falsified, here we are talking about several dozen tests done with this terminal and it is unlikely that there is any falsification of the terminal's identity in such a complex way.

More precisely, it is impossible to falsify the existence of a triple-core processor and 2 GB of RAM for an iPhone terminal, even though its name and iOS version can be extremely easily falsified, so theoretically the information from these tests should be 100 % accurate.

In this idea, the dozens of tests done for these terminals that would be iPhone 6S si iPhone 6S plus it should undoubtedly confirm the performance of the A9 and A9X chips, but it remains to be seen what contradictory information will appear on the Internet in the next period.
