The iPhone 6S has a case that is 2 times stronger than that of the iPhone 6 according to a test done today, and this reveals that the device will be much harder to bend, even when someone actually tries to do so.
Last week I saw it for the first time iPhone 6S case in a video clip and told us that it would be made of the aluminum 7000 already used in the Apple Watch, which is much stronger, but apparently also lighter than the one used in the iPhone 6 case.
Today the material used in iPhone 6S case it was confirmed to be aluminum 7000 with the help of a device called XRF analyzer, the terminal housing having 92.8% aluminum and 6.1% zinc, and together with a more efficient anodizing process it proves to be more resistant.

Based on what is done in the clip, the iPhone 6 case bends if a pressure of 13 KG is applied to it, while the case iPhone 6S it withstands a pressure of about 36 KG, so almost 3 times higher, a sign that Apple has worked seriously on its strengthening.
Although this new 7000 aluminum would be more expensive and more difficult to manufacture, Apple will use it in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus case to avoid a scandal like the one last year in which we were repeatedly shown that iPhone 6 Plus bends during use.
This year the iPhone 6S Plus will be much more resistant and will not bend as easily when you carry it in your pockets and sit on it or bend over putting pressure on the case, so theoretically Apple should be safe from new scandals humiliating.
This change would make the iPhone 6S Plus much more durable than any other similar phablet on the market, but we will see the results in the fall.
