typecast is a tweak launched last night in Cydia for our iPhone, iPad and iPod Touches, and with its help we can implement an extremely useful function for the applications Messages, Messages, Kik or WhatsApp Messenger but by iOS 8.
Specifically, the developer typecast claims that this tweak displays icons in the status bar of the operating system that tell us when a message has been read, but also when the interlocutor writes a new message, the latter indicator being displayed even instead of the badges of the Messages application.
The typing indicator will appear when someone has started typing, and even a check mark will popup when someone's read your message! Status bar icons will keep you notified if someone is texting you or has recently viewed your text.
