The iPad Mini 4 is one of the new Apple products that has not received so much attention from the world, and this is why few people want a new tablet with a 7.9-inch screen in the conditions that products of this kind.
Apple stated that the iPad Mini 4 is basically an iPad Air 2 tablet, but smaller in size and it seems that it would not have the triple-core processor of the A8X chip in its bigger "sister", but would have a chip A8 with a dual-core processor whose working frequency was increased, that is, it was overclocked.
According to some performance tests carried out for the iPad Mini 4, it would have a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 100 MHz more than the one in the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, the performance increase offered being marginal compared to the two smartphones -hate.
Compared to the iPad Mini 3, we are talking about an increase in performance of approximately 20% for the iPad Mini 4, the difference in performance compared to the iPad Mini 2 being identical, but compared to the iPad Air 2, it does not offer at least equal performance, as it were expected a lot.
The good part in all this disappointment is that the iPad Mini 4 has 2 GB of RAM, just like the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus or iPad Air 2, but this does not offer a very large increase in performance compared to the smartphones launched last year by the company Apple.
Of course, there is a chance that these performance tests are wrong, but it is very small and we will only be convinced of the truth in the future.
