Orange 4G customer satisfactionOrange has the most extensive 4G network from Romania, and according to an internal study carried out by the operator, 97% of its clients are satisfied with the quality of services offered through it.

11.000 people participated in the study carried out by those from Orange Romania together with Millward Brown and the result is extremely good, comparable to the degree of satisfaction of Apple's iPhones, if we are to extrapolate a little.

Orange has invested serious amounts of money in its national 4G network and this is visible in the quality of services, if you are a customer of the company, so I am not surprised by their results, especially since I have been using their 4G network since its launch.

Bucharest, September 18, 2015. Last week Orange announced a new brand promise, which reflects the Essentials 2020 strategy, centered on the essential needs of customers. One of the most important needs for mobile phone users is to always be connected. In line with the concern to offer customers the best experiences when using the network, Orange carried out a study with the help of consumers this summer, to see their perception of the 4G network, as well as what are the criteria they use when evaluating the quality of the Internet 4G mobile. The result validates the quality of the network: 97% of Orange 4G users are satisfied with their 4G experience.

The research was carried out between June and September 2015 with the help of Millward Brown, a leading global research agency specializing in studies on the effectiveness of communication, media channels and the value of brands.

Here are some of the results of the study:

  • Mobile Internet is the reference service for urban mobile phone users, for whom it has become a necessity of everyday life
  • "Access to information in real time" is the main reason for the daily use of the mobile Internet
  • Repeated quality problems when using the mobile Internet (interruption of the connection or total lack of service) can lead to a change of operator
  • When when it comes to evaluating the quality of a network, personal experience is the most important: "I'm interested in how that network works. That he has certificates, ok, that's a plus. But I don't warm to the certification if when I need the signal, I don't have it." (user of mobile internet services)

In the context where the real experience matters most to customers, Orange developed the 4G Fun Kit application this summer. The app allowed any 4G service user to experience high-speed internet through free movies, songs or audiobooks, as well as uploadable selfies. At the same time, users had the opportunity to test the Orange 4G network and express their opinion on their experience.

Between August 13 and September 11, customers thus tested the performance of the 4G network for streaming video and audio, downloading and uploading files. For one month, after accessing each type of content, customers were asked to give their opinion on the 4G internet offered by Orange.

After analyzing the more than 11 reviews received, the results show that 000% of Orange 97G customers are satisfied with their mobile internet experience.

5085 Orange 4G users participated in this study. The sample is nationally representative for all Orange 4G customers, with a margin of error of +/-2%. The data was processed and analyzed by Millward Brown Romania.

Orange currently has the most extensive 4G network in Romania covering 96% of the urban population and 70% of the total population of the country. The new results offered by analyzing the opinion of users support the results of the tests carried out through the ANCOM application, which show that in the first half of the year Orange offered the highest download speeds in Romania, both inside and outside buildings.

The investments planned for the next period are aimed at maintaining the high quality of 4G services even in the conditions of increasing customer adoption.
