The Regent Street Apple Store is tired and outdated

Apple Store Regent StreetThe Regent Street Apple Store is tired and outdated according to the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, those from Cupertino saying that the biggest store in Great Britain needs a "refreshment" of the design and that Jony Ive will take care of the procedure in the next period.

The building in which the Regent Street Apple Store is located is protected by the authorities for its historical importance, so Apple cannot change much in terms of the facade, it will remove the logos from the windows and make a multitude of interior changes.

The picture above I took 2 weeks ago in the Apple Store Regent Street and to be completely honest, the store is really so "attractive" for customers, so a change would be auspicious, especially since we are talking about a design many years old.

The brief looked to re-imagine the overall customer experience within the store and address a tired and outdated interior sales area [...] Part of the proposed works is also removing the four Apple Logos from the Regent Street facade. This assists with natural light penetrating the retail floor and preserves the historic character of the facade.

Recently the Apple company opened the Apple Store Brussels in which they installed tactile tables and shrubs, the ultra-modern design being created by Jony Ive, Apple's Chief Design Officer following the modernity of the store in Regent Street, an extremely crowded area London.

The first ideas involve a modification of the floor to create more space and light inside the building, the interior glass staircase to be replaced with two other "dramatic" ones, i.e. spiral staircases existing in other Apple Stores on the planet.

The Regent Street Apple Store was opened in 2004 and had minor changes in its 11 years of existence, so Jony Ive is probably preparing a grandiose change for the interior.
