Apple initiates a program to replace the screens of some Macs

Mac lamination screen problemA few months ago I told you that some Mac owners started an online petition by which I ask the company Apple to replace the Macs whose screens no longer have the anti-reflection layer with which they came from the factory, in the attached image the problem of computers where this layer applied by Apple has been erased in certain areas is shown.

Users of these Macs with problems I maintain that the anti-reflection layer applied in the factory where the Macs are produced is erased due to intense use, especially in the areas where the screen makes contact with the keyboard when closing, and the Apple company finally gives them the right.

More precisely, the Apple company has agreed to include these Macs with problems in a special replacement program, their screens will be replaced with new ones that do not have the same problem, this being basically the main request of users around the world .

Normal MacBooks and MacBook Pro Retina Display sold in the last 3 years, or until October 16, 2016, will be included in this program, and users will have to take them to an Apple Store or an authorized Apple service for a free screen replacement.

In the case of those who spent money to do this repair at an Apple Store or authorized Apple service, the American company will return the repair money based on the user's receipt, so that in the end justice is done for those who spent large sums of money on a Mac.

This problem came to be known all over the world under the name Staingate, so that Apple came to pay attention to it only after thousands upon thousands of customers began to complain, some even discussing with lawyers about taking Apple to court.

Unfortunately, Apple will not publish information on its website regarding the verification and replacement policy of affected Macs, so the only information you will be able to find is only at its partners or even in its stores.
