iOS 9.1 – first impressions

iOS 9.1 - first impressionsiOS 9.1 was launched last evening by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and today I will tell you my first impressions about the new version of the operating system, bringing some not so important changes.

Testing iOS 9.1 since last night and until now I have realized that the performances have not improved compared to iOS 9.0.2, on the contrary, on 6S iPhone Plus the animations seem to be slightly slower, a benchmark revealing the fact that the performances are slightly lower, theoretically imperceptible.

I didn't expect that iOS 9.1 to bring performance improvements, but it probably solves some operating system problems, but it doesn't bring a major change for our iDevices, so don't expect something like that from it because you won't get it.

iOS 9.1 – first impressions

About iOS 9.1 battery life I can't tell you absolutely anything in less than a day of use, so don't ask, I will come back with details about this aspect of the operating system in the following days after I have the opportunity to test it in various conditions of use.

Regarding the opportunity of installation iOS 9.1, as long as you can do it downgrade iOS 9.1 to iOS 9.0.2, you can try the new version of the operating system to revert to the old one while you still can, so you won't lose too much by trying.

At the same time, I remind you that you cannot jailbreak iOS 9.1 and that you have to stay at iOS 9.0.2 to be able to benefit from this functionality for your terminals, or possibly you can downgrade as I explained above.

That being said, iOS 9.1 it seems to me to be a not very important upgrade, without noticeable changes and overall I don't think that your difference should be different from the one offered by iOS 9.0.2.

What do you think about iOS 9.1?
