If you like drones, then today I will tell you that an American company has launched on the civilian market the first drone that flies unlimited, she having the name Persistent Aerial Reconnaissance and Communications, PARC.
Initially used by the army to ensure the security of military bases or other locations, PARC drone it is capable of flying at altitudes of up to 170 meters for unlimited periods of time, so it can theoretically monitor a location permanently.
The key to this autonomy is a microfilament that connects to the ground, it being able to transmit energy for its engines, but also to transmit data to the computers to which it is connected, so we are talking about a real video feed offered to users.
This microfilament is thinner than the cable of some headphones for smartphones, but it is very resistant, the drone of course also has a built-in battery that allows it to land if the contact with the permanent energy source is interrupted in any way.
For now, it is not known when it will be launched PARC drone or at what price the Cyphy company that created it will sell it, but it has limited utility in the real world mainly due to the fact that it must always be connected to an energy source from the ground.
