CES 2016: ASUS MB169C+ – the first portable USB-C monitor

ASUS MB169C+ASUS MB169C+ was presented today in the framework CES 2016 by company ASUS and we are talking about the first portable monitor USB-C launched on the market, it being compatible including with 12 inch MacBook sold by Apple since last year.

ASUS MB169C+ it has a single charging cable and a special stand that allows it to be transported wherever the user needs it, the USB-C port facilitating the connection with compatible devices without requiring the use of any other type of cable to provide video content to the product from ASUS.

In the image above you can see how it looks ASUS MB169C+, the monitor having a screen with a diagonal of 15.6 inches, 1080p resolution, the IPS technology being the one chosen by the ASUS company to offer the clearest possible colors and the best possible viewing angles.

ASUS MB169C+ it has a thickness of only 8.5mm and a weight of 816 grams, so it is lighter than a laptop and together with an ultrabook it will not add much weight to the bag that you will use to carry it with you wherever you need it.

For the time being, ASUS has not announced the selling price for the ASUS MB169C+, but it is speculated that it would be more than 300 dollars in the US.
