Netflix is available for free in Romania for a month starting last night, the American company extending its services to over 130 countries on the planet, even though their offer is truncated compared to what they offer for the USA.
Netflix subscriptions in Romania do not restrict access to content depending on the money paid monthly by us, but restrict the quality of the video stream that we can see, so that from 8 to 12 euros you go from SD quality to Ultra HD quality, 4K, for content.
Practically, for the Netflix Basic subscription you will have the opportunity to see movies and TV series in SD quality with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, depending on your internet connection, and on a TV the quality will not be as you expect.
For the Netflix Standard subscription, you will have the opportunity to see movies and TV series in HD quality with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels. depending on the internet connection, at least 10 Mbps being necessary for the first one, the movies having a high compression rate anyway, so the quality is not 100% great.
For the Netflix Premium subscription, you will have the opportunity to see movies and TV series in HD or Ultra HD quality with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1920 x 1080 pixels or 4K, this depends on the internet connection you have and the quality in which the content was filmed.
Because Netflix is offered for free in the first month, I recommend you to subscribe to Netflix Premium and look for the content that has the best quality, a minimum connection of 25 Mbps is required to see it, but I'm sure most of you have it.
Apart from the high quality of the content, I recommend you to try Netflix Premium because it gives you the possibility to use up to 4 devices simultaneously with your account, so you can watch multiple content at the same time if you have several people in the house interested in several things .
After the first month of free subscription, you can choose any other subscription, if the Premium one does not satisfy you, or you can completely cancel the Netflix account until you decide that the service is worth your money.
