Why is Apple forcing Wi-Fi Assist for iOS 9

iOS 9 assistance Wi-Fi processWiFi Assist or Wi-Fi assistant is a function implemented by the Apple company in iOS 9 for iPhone and iPad, the system automatically disconnecting a user from a Wi-Fi network and connecting to a cellular data network.

This process is done automatically when a Wi-Fi connection is weak and offers a low Internet browsing speed, its signal must have a very low value so that Wi-Fi Assist is activated, even if the device is not normally disconnected from it.

Apple was sued because of the Wi-Fi Assistance system and despite the fact that everyone criticizes the implementation of this function because it generates additional costs for users without them knowing, those from Cupertino continue to offer it natively activated in iOS 9, without notifying the world.

If you wonder why exactly shoves it down our throats the Apple company Wi-Fi Assist function, well the answer is very simple: the greed of mobile phone operators. Apple does not earn anything from the additional cost invoices of the operators' subscribers, but its partners do, and that's what makes them happy.

Many people do not know what is the basis of the additional cost and in most cases it is a few euros or a few tens of euros, so the subscribers do not make too much of a fuss, but when you have tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or millions of subscribers with additional cost of this kind, the amounts won are very high.

In this idea, Apple will not soon offer any version of iOS that has Wi-Fi Assist disabled standard because the mobile phone operators do not like this, those from Cupertino presenting the function as a revolutionary one, but in reality it only has the role of extorting money from the users.

Now if you wonder why Apple would do something like this for operators, well Apple has done various things like this for some partners and it all has to do with purchase contracts for many iPhone terminals.
