tvOS 9.2 beta 2 brings iCloud Photo Library and Live Photos

tvOS 9.2 beta 2 was launched last night together with iOS beta 9.3 2, OS X 10.11.4 beta 2 and watchOS 2.2 beta 2, the Apple company implementing in the software for Apple TV 4 an extremely important novelty that will delight users from all over the world.

More specifically, Apple TV 4 with tvOS 9.2 beta 2 installed is now able to display the entire photo video stream of users using iCloud Photo Library, iCloud Photo Library, until now the Apple company only providing access to the photos from PhotoStreams.

Natively iCloud Photo Library is disabled in tvOS 9.2 beta 2 for Apple TV 4, though users can activate the system from the iCloud settings menu, all photos and movies from the stream being then displayed directly in the Photos application offered by the Apple company.

Separate from iCloud Photo Library, tvOS 9.2 beta 2 also brings support for Live Photos, so that any kind of animated pictures existing in a user's photo stream will be able to be played on Apple TV 4 together with the related animation and the recorded sound.
