The LG G5 screen is always on

LG G5 is the future premium smartphone that the LG company is preparing to launch for users from all over the world, the new terminal will come with a new design compared to the ones we are used to by the Korean manufacturer, but also with some interesting functions.

According to an animated image published by LG on its own Facebook account, The LG G5 will have an always-on screen, or more precisely will benefit from a technology called Always On, being similar to that Always On Display prepared by Samsung, and I talked about it the other day.

When LG says that the LG G5 screen will always be on, the company refers to the fact that the terminal will be able to display the time, various information and alerts on the lock screen without the entire screen being lit, this technology seriously reducing the device's energy consumption.

Considering that OLED screens do not use lighting panels behind the screen, the LG G5 screen will only be able to illuminate certain portions to display some important information for us and without consuming a lot of energy available in the battery implemented in it.

LG G5 always on

That being said, LG G5 it is announced to be a very interesting terminal and if it will have a more attractive appearance than the old LG smartphone models, then it will have a serious chance to compete with the iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S7 on the global markets.
