An assumption iPhone 7 battery appears in the first images today directly from China, they are recorded in one of the factories that most likely produces prototypes of components that are going to reach the Apple company for testing.
As you will see in the images below, this assumption iPhone 7 battery is capacity of 7.04 Whr, slightly higher than the 6.61 Whr of the iPhone 6S, but almost identical to the 7.01 Whr of the iPhone 6, and this is disappointing.
If these images are real, then battery iPhone 7 it could have exactly the same capacity as the iPhone 6, i.e. 1810 mAh, and Apple would not offer an improvement in the battery life of its premium smartphones, as the world demands.
The iPhone 7 battery could be a big disappointment
Considering that Apple wants to do iPhone 7 thinner than iPhone 6S, keeping the battery capacity at a value offered in the past is not hard to believe, the Apple company placing less emphasis on autonomy than on the external design of the terminal.
Of course as one more efficient A10 chip for iPhone 7 could offer better autonomy for terminals, even if the battery will not have a larger capacity, but we will not find this out until the smartphone is actually offered on the market.
The iPhone 6 offered a moderate increase in battery life compared to the iPhone 5S, although the capacity has increased significantly, the iPhone 6S offering the same autonomy as the iPhone 6 although its battery capacity is smaller, so it will be interesting to see what it will bring iPhone 7.
