The new EarPods of the iPhone 7 appear in a first alleged image

The Apple company is preparing a major change for its line of iPhones in the fall, iPhone 7 not having a 3.5mm audio port available, and this gives us to understand that Apple will provide EarPods that have a Lightning connector instead of the standard 3.5mm.

Long before that iPhone 7 to be presented, today we see a first image that shows us what seems to be a pair of EarPods headphones with Lightning connector, but unfortunately no one can confirm that they are manufactured for Apple.

Considering that there are a lot of counterfeit EarPods out there, it wouldn't be hard to believe that they were made in China by a local company, but even so, the ones that will be delivered with the iPhone 7 should look exactly the same.

It is unlikely that Apple will change the design of the EarPods in any way apart from changing the connection port to its iPhone terminals, so the final version of this accessory should look exactly like the image below.

Although the image appears today, there is little chance that Apple will launch an iPhone SE without a 3.5mm audio port, so it is unlikely that these headphones will be presented at the conference prepared by Apple today.

UPDATED: It seems that the image is fake.
