Apple produces car parts with Tesla engineers and more

The project of the car Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is progressing nicely, or at least that's what we learn from new information that appeared during this day, the Apple company producing parts for cars in a laboratory that in the past was used to create prototypes of Mac/iDevices in order to launch them on the market.

In this laboratory work a multitude of engineers that the Apple company has hired in recent months, the most recent of them being a former programmer of Tesla and an engineer who produced car parts within the company Andretti Autosport.

The former Tesla engineer worked on the design of parts for propulsion systems for automobiles, components for chassis or suspensions, the former employee of Andretii being the supervisor of the effective manufacturing process of these car parts.

To manufacture these parts, the Apple company certainly has various complex machines in the laboratory where these engineers work, so we are talking about a project at an advanced stage, contrary to what Tim Cook wants us to believe.

The hires seem to hint at Apple's work prototyping car parts at its Product Realization Lab, a facility that was previously used for prototyping new Macs, iOS devices and Apple's other products. The lab, at least for other Apple products, is where model makers, machinists, and other engineers at Apple prototype products and parts.

Until now, no possible sketches for the Apple car or the parts that would end up in it have been discovered, but as the project progresses, it is very likely that we will also see very clear evidence of the fact that a car is really developed by Apple.
