Apple is buying land to manufacture the electric car

As the electric car project progresses, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is more and more willing to buy pieces of land on which to probably set up factories or garages in which to test the multiple prototype cars before the final model is launched.

Apple is interested in buying land of up to 250.000 m² to build various buildings for car testing, but we are not talking about any car factory, they occupy, on average, 4 times more land area than what they are looking for Apple.

Looking at the way the Apple company is looking for land to build data centers for iCloud, this search by the Apple company has in mind the construction of a similar space, only that it will be dedicated to testing electric and possibly autonomous cars.

For several months, the Apple company has been renting more and more office space and empty buildings to expand the project for the development of its electric car, so this new search for a large piece of land is logical and the situation is similar for its competitors.

We're seeing the Toyotas of the world, the Teslas of the world, BMWs, Mercedes. Ford is now out in the marketplace looking for space. I haven't even mentioned the 400,000 square feet that Google's looking to take down and the 800,000 square feet that Apple's looking to take down for their autonomous cars as well.

Apart from the search for a larger space in which to carry out its activity, the Apple company is also looking to expand the team of engineers who develop the Apple Watch, which will be the first few tens or even hundreds of people specialized in the development of cars.

The electric car of the Apple company has been in the development process for more than 2 years, and at the moment it is desired that it reach the market during the year 2018 or 2019, but everything depends on how quickly all the technologies can be developed thoughts for her.
