Apple dominates Samsung in smartphone sales in China

In Q1 2016, 104.7 million smartphones were sold in China, and the company Apple accounted for approximately 10% of this sales figure, being a respectable one, but small compared to what the Americans hoped to achieve in this period.

According to data published today, the 13.5 million iPhones sold in China in Q1 2016, based on analysts' estimates, are more than the sales of Samsung, HTC, Microsoft, Motorola and LG combined, the achievement being impressive.

Samsung would have sold 7.2 million smartphones in China, so a little more than half compared to Apple, and from here everything drops radically, HTC having 300.000 units sold, Microsoft and Motorola 200.000 units, LG and Sony registering only 200.00 units sold.

Practically, Apple managed to occupy the first position in the list of foreign brands that had the highest sales of smartphones in China, and in total it occupies the second position after Huawei, the difference compared to the Chinese company being 0.6 million units sold.

Among international vendors, Apple shipped 13.5 million smartphones, Samsung Electronics 7.2 million units, HTC 300,000 million units, Microsoft 200,000 units, and Motorola Mobility, LG Electronics and Sony Mobile Communications each 100,000 units.

Although in the USA Samsung managed to take the leading position on the smartphone market for the first time, Apple continues to conquer the market in China and was close to surpassing even Huawei, a difficult thing to do for any smartphone manufacturer .
