Do you have an old iPod? You could make a small fortune on it!

If you have one iPod old and you are thinking of selling it, well you might make a small fortune from this decision because some models of this series of Apple products sell extremely well through online auction websites in the USA.

Believe it or not, Americans are willing to pay between $1000 and $90.000 for various iPod models listed on auction websites, the numbers being incredible if we consider that we are talking about a product that no longer exists. is manufactured by Apple.

At the moment there are active auctions for standard iPod models that they reached 1000 dollars, the special models U2 aup to 7000 dollars, this while other models they also attract 20.000 dollars from people eager to get into their possession as quickly as possible.

These amounts are still tiny compared to the $90.000 someone paid for a special U2 model last November, and that person could have bought a variety of other electronic products, or even a Tesla, with this money.

Terapeak, a company which tracks the pricing of collectibles on eBay, released a study on the pricing of Apple products following the iPod's discontinuation. It found that classic iPods in their original packaging were priced at collectibles levels – one U2 special edition, Terapeak noted, sold in November for $90,000 – and that ever since Apple discontinued the item the price of even late-model iPods had risen considerably.

If you still have multiple iPods from the same collection, but with variations in storage space, then you can get up to 50.000 dollars from Americans willing to buy them, but the main condition is that the iPods are sealed, otherwise the amount drops exponentially.
