Facebook will allow the publication of video clips in comments on posts

Facebook allows the publication of video clips in the comments left by users on posts published by other people or by pages, the function being completely new and currently available on all platforms from which the social network can be accessed.

Facebook has not allowed the publication of video clips in comments until now, but offering this function confirms again how important is the increase in the rate of publication of video clips within the Facebook network, Americans seriously competing with YouTube in this segment.

The function of publishing video clips in the comments made on the posts published on Facebook was demonstrated for the first time at the 50th edition of the Facebook hackathon, when some employees created the function to show what else can be offered new in network framework.

In the image below you can see what the videos published in the comments made on Facebook posts look like, everything being as natural as possible, but implemented much later than it should have been, and that's because Facebook focused on many other things before offering such a function.

Videos in Comments are now available worldwide! You can upload them as replies to posts by people and pages, as well as within groups and events. It's supported on desktop web, iOS, and Android. To try it out, click the camera icon next to the comment field!

Facebook shoved videos down our throats in its network, playing them automatically when they appeared in the News Feed, and now the same thing has happened in the comments we see for posts published by regular users or pages.

Having said that, starting today you will be able to publish videos in the comments made on Facebook, whether you upload them directly from your terminals, whether we are talking about links inserted for YouTube videos, or from other websites.
