Pokemon GO is a spying tool

Controversial director Oliver Stone declares that, in his opinion, Pokemon GO is an espionage tool. The director made this statement at the San Diego Comic Con, together with the presentation of the film "Snowden".

The topic of Pokemon GO seems to have been discussed at length also during this event, at the presentation of the film "Snowden", the film dealing with the subject of espionage carried out by the USA on Americans. Thus, the director describes the Pokemon GO application as a new way of invasion of privacy and a part of the culture of surveillance capitalism.

The profits are enormous here for places like Google. They've invested a huge amount of money in data mining what you are buying, what you like, your behavior.
