UBER, the well-known taxi service, is starting today available including in Cluj Napoca, the company announcing last week its launch in the second city in Romania, and today the first race was made, Tudor Giurgiu being the first customer to use the application in the city to call a UBERX car.
According to those from UBER, the service is available at promotional rates in the city to celebrate the expansion of availability, and new users will benefit from the first free ride, so many people will be able to test the service before actually starting to pay for rides.
The basic rate for UBERX rides in Cluj Napoca is 1.7 lei, apo being applied a rate of 0.2 LEI/minute + 1.7 lei/KM, the minimum amount for accepting a ride is 7 lei, the fee for canceling the ride after more than 5 minutes after registering an order is 6 lei.

As you already know very well, UBER allows you to pay for trips with its cars using a credit card, without tipping the driver and with an initial estimate of the cost of your ride, but of course you must always be vigilant about the costs, especially during busy periods, then UBER increasing by up to 7-9 times the prices, depending on demand.

Uber, the ridesharing application that connects passengers with partner drivers who want to share a ride, is, starting today, available in Cluj Napoca. All those who have not tried the service until now will have their first free ride, within the limit of 40 lei, if they create an Uber account and enter the code in the application UberinCluj. To begin with, uberX will be available at promotional rates, to celebrate the launch of the service in the second Uber city in Romania.
The first user who tried the application in Cluj Napoca is Tudor Giurgiu – award-winning director and producer, Eisenhower Fellow and president of TIFF – Transilvania International Film Festival.
