iPhone 7 – screen with 1080p resolution, iPhone 7 Plus 2K resolution

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will have 1080p and 2K resolution screens, the Apple company finally catching up with its Android competitors.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus screens they appear today in the first images, they being recorded in one of the JDI factories by an employee of this company, they being produced based on the specifications imposed by the Apple company.

According to the source of these images, The iPhone 7 will have a screen with a 1080p resolution, i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels, this being much larger than the 1334 x 750 pixels used at the moment, the terminal with a 4.7 inch screen going to basically take over the resolution of the iPhone 6/6S Plus from the last 2 years.

We are talking about a substantial increase in the resolution of the iPhone 7 compared to that of the iPhone 6/6S, and this will probably also come with a major improvement in the number of pixels per inch that the screens have, which may increase from 326 at the time of face, at over 400 pixels per inch.

1080p and 2K resolution for screens

Moving now to iPhone 7 Plus, it seems that the new smartphone with a 5.5-inch screen will come with a 2K resolution, i.e. 2560 x 1440 pixels, this being again higher than the standard iPhone 6/6S Plus, the Apple company offering 1080p resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels, for these terminals since 2014.

iPhone 6/6S Plus have screens with 401 pixels per inch thanks to the resolution in relation to the size of the 5.5 inch screen, so the switch to 2K resolution could bring an increase in the number of pixels per inch to over 500, but for now this is just a guess, without knowing exactly what Apple has prepared.

Separate from the announcement of these new resolutions for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus screens, today's images show us that Apple does not seem to have made major changes to the screens, the connection cables to the motherboard being slightly different, but the protection applied for the Force Touch module being similar to the iPhone 6S.

2 years have passed since the last resolution change made by the Apple company for the iPhone line, and if we look at the past, we see that similar changes were offered in 2010, 2012 and 2014, so it is very likely that today's information will may 2016 be true and bring us a new resolution for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
