Yesterday the ANCOM published a very interesting study detailing the average duration for solving problems reported by customers regarding mobile internet connections or fixed internet connections, they publicly present the situation of the largest Internet service providers in Romania and which has the biggest problems.
According to those from ANCOM, RCS & RDS has the longest assumed period for solving fixed internet connection problems, more precisely 90 days, while Digital cable Systems has the shortest problem solving time, which is 21 days, even less than Telekom or UPC.
The situation is also the same when it comes to the effective resolution of problems, those from RCS & RDS having the hardest time solving problems among all internet service providers, which is somewhat easy to understand considering the large number of customers and the long queues in the company's points of presence.
Basically, ANCOM says that the deadline for fixing problems with fixed internet connections decreased in 2015 to only 14 hours, compared to 21 hours in 2014, and the deadline for mobile internet connections increased from 25 hours in 2014 at no less than 39 hours in 2015, so by 50%.
As the operators gathered more and more customers of mobile internet services, but did not grow in line with the number of employees, the problems in solving the disturbances seem to be getting bigger and bigger, and in 2016 there is a risk that the resolution time of of a notification to increase even more.
Although those from Digi Mobil do not solve their problems quickly when it comes to fixed internet, in the case of mobile internet they do as well as Vodafone or Telekom, but the situation is different when it comes to other devices accessing its network mobile, where the resolution period is up to 24 times longer.
