The iPhone 8 will have a 5.8-inch OLED screen

iPhone 8 with 5.8 inch OLED screen would be launched by the Apple company in 2017, at least by three iPhone models to be brought to the market next year. The information comes from a Japanese publication whose journalists talked with partners of the Apple company who are preparing the launch of these devices.

In fact, in 2017 we should have one iPhone 8 with 4.7 inch screen, iPhone 8 Plus with 5.5 inch screen, iPhone 8 Pro with 5.8 inch screen and maybe other models. This new model of iPhone 8 with 5.8 inch screen it should have the edges of the screen curved outwards, as it happens in the case Galaxy Note 7.

Basically, the information regarding the launch of a iPhone 8 with curved OLED screen they are not new, but neither is the information that only one premium model of the iPhone you will benefit from this screen. Through its implementation, Apple wants to offer improved contrast, shorter response times, larger viewing angles and better energy efficiency.

iPhone 8 – 5.8 inch curved OLED screen

The additional 0.3 inches that the screen Curved OLED on which the iPhone 8 with a 5.8-inch screen would have would practically represent that curvature that the screen would benefit from. Through this change, Apple would offer us a much better experience for using its products, and here we are not only talking about hardware, but also about software.

Implementing a curved OLED screen in a separate model of iPhone 8, those from Apple would practically maintain the resolutions for the old terminals, but also the screens, which would remain flat and with the same diagonal. The new iPhone 8 model with a 5.8-inch screen would still have a new resolution, most likely, and new functions for the edges of the screen.

"Apple has developed three new iPhone models for next year, including a premium smartphone that will have a curved screen, similar to what Samsung has adopted in premium smartphones. There will be a 4.7-inch model, another 5.5-inch model and a premium model that will have a 5.8-inch screen, the screen being curved on both edges of the case."

Basically, Apple saw how popular the Samsung Galaxy Edge series is and stole the idea for its iPhone terminals by launching the iPhone 8, but probably with different functions. Many iPhone owners would enjoy such a change and I think Apple will be fully praised for offering it.

A few weeks ago I found out that Apple has given up on the release of the iPhone 7 Pro, so offering a model of this kind next year does not seem so hard to believe.
