The first alleged details regarding the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus camera appeared this morning on the Weibo social network in China, without any certification. The data are most likely provided by people who have analyzed some internal documents regarding the manufacturing of the two terminals, but for now nothing is certain.
According to this information, the iPhone 7 camera will have 12 megapixels with a 1/2.6" sensor size, f/1.9 aperture and 1.35 µm pixel size. The iPhone 6S camera still has 12 megapixels, but f/2.2 aperture, 1/3″ sensor size and 1.22 µm pixel size, so we are talking about a major improvement for the camera.
The iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual 12 megapixel camera with 1/2.6" sensor size, f/1.9 aperture and 1.35 µm pixel size, instead it also has an optical image stabilizer. The iPhone 6S Plus camera also has 12 megapixels, but f/2.2 aperture, 1/3″ sensor size and 1.22 µm pixel size, and the optical image stabilizer is also present.
Better camera, bigger battery and more RAM

Moving on, the iPhone 7 will have a 1960 mAh battery, 200 mAh more than the iPhone 6S. The iPhone 7 Plus, on the other hand, will have a 2910 mAh battery, so it will be 205 mAh higher than the iPhone 6S Plus, so theoretically we should have an improvement for the battery autonomy of the terminals.
This is the first time we see specifications for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus cameras, until now only details about their number of megapixels appeared. Considering the information regarding the opening, the size of the pixels or the sensor, now we also know how big the change will be prepared for them.
Having said that, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will have important hardware improvements starting next month, if the information turns out to be true. Since the improvements are not colossal compared to those of the current terminals, there is little reason to believe that the information is false.
