Sony FES Watch U is the successor of the watch model FES Watch released by Sony last year. At that time, Sony brought a finished one with an e-ink display, but also an original belt based on a panel similar to this technology.
Thus, users could choose from a series of preset themes that changed not only the display on the circular screen, but also the background on the watch strap.
The new Sony device – FES WATCH U - offers 12 unique themes to change the look of your watch. You can switch from one design to another just by pressing a button, and for the future the developers are also working on other themes, thus being able to store up to 24 themes.
What is new now is the fact that the smartwatch can connect to the smartphone, it offers certification IPX5 / IPX7 for dust and water resistance, and the battery has an autonomy of up to 3 weeks in standby.
Like colors, Sony FES Watch U it comes in black, silver and white, but at the moment it is at the project stage waiting to be financed, that's why a campaign is being launched through crowdfunding to raise the necessary amount - $195.000.
