Samsung would recall the Galaxy Note 7 in Belgium

Samsung would have recalled some units of the Galaxy Note 7 from sale in Belgium, fearing that they could explode during use.

Just one day after it was announced that Galaxy Note 7 has quality issues and that Samsung suspends product deliveries to check them additionally, today we find out something else important. According to a source from Belgium, Samsung would have ordered the recall in warehouses of all units already delivered to stores for sale.

The terminals that were to be sold starting tomorrow to customers will arrive later, or will not arrive at all, if Samsung finds that the Galaxy Note 7 has manufacturing problems. Officially, the company has not announced anything about the possible problems, but it is logical not to start selling the product if the battery could explode during charging.

For now, we only know that in China and South Korea, two Galaxy Note 7 terminals exploded while they were charging, which motivated Samsung to start checks. Of course, in both cases it was about the use of third-party chargers, but even so we are talking about a big problem for the company.

The Galaxy Note 7 would have recalled units from stores in Belgium

The Galaxy Note 7 should have gone on sale in the UK tomorrow, but for now we know absolutely nothing about a possible stock recall for verification. There is a possibility that Samsung has identified a batch of batteries with problems and is trying to locate only the terminals that contain them.

In this idea, there is a possibility that the postponement of sales of the Galaxy Note 7 will take place only in certain countries where these problematic devices would be located. If this is true, then we might see that the problem is limited to a few terminals and not everyone is in danger of having an exploding terminal.

Samsung's problem with the Galaxy Note 7 came at a very bad time, the company being "on the wave" thanks to the increased sales of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. How Samsung will solve this situation remains to be seen, but it is clear that somewhere there are quite big problems.
