Orange organized today a press conference in which it announced the national launch of Orange Home convergent packages that include Net, TV, Smart and Fix services. More precisely, Orange Home services are now available in over 90 cities in the country, those from Orange basically offering a very large number of customers the opportunity to benefit from services offered until now only in 3 cities in the country.
I talked to you about each type of service separately, Net being the fixed internet via fiber optic, TV being the fixed television service, Smart being the smart gadgets for the home, and Fix being the fixed telephony service. All these services are now also sold in packages called Orange Home, so we are talking about convergent services offered thanks to the partnership with Telekom.
Orange Home – convergent services for the whole house
According to those from Orange, customers will benefit in their own home, on a single bill, from convergent services that cover all the needs described above. The mobile phone operator has created a series of special subscriptions that include all these benefits and offers them at special prices for subscribers.
We are talking here about fixed internet via fiber optics called Home Net, which offers internet speeds of 100 Mbps - 1000 Mbps at prices between 7 and 11 euros. Those from Orange praise the service as perfect for all needs, even for gamers who need low latency to play online.
Fixed television services are called Home TV and offer between 54 and 139 standard and HD channels at prices between 6 and 9 euros, these being the prices for existing customers. For Home Fix we are talking about landline services at the price of only 1.25 euros with 100 Orange minutes, 100 national minutes included.
Finally we arrive at Smart Home, where Orange offers customers a variety of sensors for monitoring the whole house. The cheapest package has 2 sensors included at the price of 15 euros, these being offered free of charge together with the entire attached package, the installation being done by the customer according to needs.
Orange offers promotional prices for long-term customers in the network and installs all the equipment necessary for operation free of charge, also offering free of charge for their use throughout the contract period. Moreover, Orange also offers free telephone consulting services for customers, so that everyone knows how to enjoy the new services.
All these services from the Orange Home packages are available in 90 cities in the country starting today, and information on availability in your city can be found on the Orange website.
Orange Open
Orange Open are fixed-mobile services created by the Orange operator for those who want to combine standard services with those from the Home category. By choosing one of the Orange Open packages, customers receive the following:
- The best price for the complete package of landline and mobile services
- Discount on the monthly bill of up to 18 euros
- One bill, one bill payment point
- Integrated support, single point of contact
- 5 euro discount when adding the Orange Smart Home solution
Orange Open is available in packages like the ones you see above, i.e. one for 25 euros and one for 40 euros, with low-priced phones and discounts on the service packages offered. In practice, you benefit from a variety of services that normally you should contract from various providers, but you receive them directly from Orange, on a single invoice.
Loyalty bonus - 10 euros for each year in the network
Finally, those at Orange recognize the loyalty of their customers, so that when extending a voice subscription, or when activating a Home Net or TV subscription, Orange subscribers benefit from a bonus of 10 euros for each year spent on the network. This bonus is granted for the purchase of tablets, smartphones, or other accessories.
If you have been an Orange subscriber for a long time, you can do the calculation yourself and find out how big your bonus will be, it being, theoretically, applied over the other products in the offer.
