Spotify is more popular than Apple Music

The battle between Apple Music and Spotify is heating up, the Swedish company announcing yesterday that it has no less than 40 million subscribers globally, more than double that of Apple Music. Last week, the Apple company announced that it has 17 million Apple Music subscribers more than 15 months after the launch of the service, much less than Spotify.

In March, Spotify announced that they have 30 million subscribers to the audio streaming service, so we are talking about a 30% increase in the customer base in just 6 months. Apple announced in April that it has 13 million Apple Music subscribers, so we are talking about an increase of 4 million subscribers in 6 months, less than that of Spotify.

Basically, Apple fails to convince as many people as Spotify to try its audio streaming service, despite the "deep pockets" it has to promote it. Basically, Spotify is growing faster than Apple Music at the moment, both services being available on both the iOS and Android platforms.

In June, it was reported that Spotify has 100 million users who use its audio streaming service, including the free version with ads, so we are talking about a large user base. In the case of Apple Music, it is not known how many are active on the platform, including with the 3 months of free, so it is possible that Apple has an advantage here, even though it has fewer subscribers.
