The iPhone 7 Plus was disassembled by iFixIT last night to show us what secrets Apple has hidden inside the device's case. Until then, don't forget that you can pre-order iPhone 7 at eMAG, Orange si Vodafone in Romania, depending on what you can currently find in their stocks.
We're talking about everything we've already seen in a previous disassembly done in Vietnam, that is, a lot of components crammed into a case in which Apple worked miracles to find space. The first interesting visible change has to do with the opening mode of the iPhone 7 Plus case, which opens sideways and not upwards, as it happens with previous models.
Opening the iPhone 7 Plus, the people from iFixit noted the adhesive applied in very generous quantities by the Apple company to ensure water resistance. As for the audio port, it has been replaced by the Taptic Engine module that supports the 3D Touch functionality and the new tactile Home button, which replaces the old classic button.

Here are the most important hidden components in the iPhone 7 Plus:
- the 2900 mAh battery with 3.82 V and 11.1 Wh that we heard about for so many months;
- a new A10 Fusion chip with 3 GB of RAM;
- a lot of adhesive applied to ensure water resistance;
- same dimensions as iPhone 6S;
- the same Apple proprietary screws;
- a camera integrated in the case and better protected against contact with water.
For now, that's what iFixIt managed to do regarding the disassembly of the iPhone 7 Plus, which is still in progress, so I will update the article as new information appears. From now on iFixIt will get to the new A10 Fusion chip and the components that are mounted by the Apple company around it, so we will find out some additional details about them.
