How Apple made the iPhone 7 waterproof

Apple "fumbled" to make iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus water resistant, this being visible in a new video clip.

The man who showed us that morning iPhone 7 it scratches, but it doesn't bend, he came back with a video clip in which he shows us the measures Apple took to make the terminal water-resistant. I have already seen two teardowns made for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, but none of them explained very clearly what changes Apple made for this purpose.

We know that a lot of adhesive was used to protect each part of the joint between the screen and the case, but separately, little is known about how to protect the exposed points. We are talking here about the grills at the base of the case, the Lightning port, the microphones or the buttons, along which water could enter the case.

In the video clip below you have a detailed explanation of the changes made by the Apple company to protect the iPhone 7 case from water penetration. More precisely, we are talking about additional gaskets mounted to the exposed holes, but also about plastic pieces placed over the contacts of the cable connectors with the motherboard.

Those from Apple have done a very painstaking job of protecting the iPhone 7 from contact with water, and this is fully visible in the video clip available below. Although Apple does not offer a warranty for damage caused to the case by contact with water, the iPhone 7 is protected both to repel water and for the situation in which water actually penetrates the case.
