As you already know very well, iOS 10 allows us to record photos in RAW format with our iPhone terminals launched in the last year, but also with the iPad Pro 9.7 inch tablet. Very few applications have implemented support for the RAW format for now, but those from Adobe have implemented the function in the Lightroom application, which I also used to record the pictures.
Those from Adobe have their own DNG format to record RAW photos, they are then converted to JPG format when they are saved in the Camera Roll, or transferred by email. Even so, the quality of photos in RAW format is considerably better than the quality of standard photos, taken without HDR and without being edited in any way.
Recording photos in RAW format using the iPhone is a huge step forward made by the Apple company, opening new opportunities for amateur or even professional photographers. Thanks to the support for this format, iPhone terminals finally become much more useful as cameras, the dual camera in 7 iPhone Plus being really impressive in the right conditions.
