iPhone 7 is extremely sought after according to analysts

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are in extremely high demand at the moment, with delivery times reaching up to December.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are in extremely high demand at the moment, according to American analysts, checking the stocks of terminals available at various US stores. We are talking about months of waiting to receive an iPhone 7 Plus from most mobile operators, but also from some of the big retailers in the US.

According to Citigroup analysts, an order made now for iPhone 7 Plus is delivered in 48-62 days by the store, compared to only 21-28 days last year for iPhone 6S Plus. The difference is due to the changes made by Apple for the terminal, but also to the very high demand, the iPhone 7 Plus being much more popular than its predecessor.

The jet black model is of course the most popular for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the Apple company having the greatest difficulties in delivering this version to its customers. After the jet black model, the matte black one is also hard to find in stores, both having apparently higher sales than the other colors offered by Apple.

iPhone 7 still has a very high demand all over the planet

According to analysts, at the moment the delivery estimates for some iPhone 7 Plus jet black models reach the middle of November, i.e. over 2 and a half months. We are talking about extremely long delivery times for Apple products, something that did not happen in the past years, when the demand was much lower.

"In fact, at Verizon it takes 48-62 days to get a mid-range iPhone 7+ compared to 21-28 days last year for an iPhone 6s+. Shipping estimates for the Jet Black model exceed those for last year's Rose Gold model as well as 2013's Gold model at this point in the sales cycle. In fact, Jet Black shipping estimates go as far out as December 15th, which might be close to a record wait time for a new iPhone, although we don't know the shipping estimates from the original iPhone launch in 2007 that also had long shipping delays. Apple made a big deal about the manufacturing process of Jet Black, which could be impacting supply."

In front of such evidence of the success of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, it is hard to believe that the terminals have not recorded very good sales until now. Of course, we keep the proportions in terms of Apple's ability to cover demand with stocks, but if they had enough stocks, sales would have been much, much higher.
