iPhone 7 is faster than Google Pixel XL

The first performance tests show us that Google Pixel XL it doesn't even come close to the level of performance that they have established iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus this year. The first tests done through Geekbench for the new smartphone show us that it has, in fact, performance similar to that of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, not iPhone 6.

Considering that Google mocked iPhone 7 in the conference for the presentation of Pixel and Pixel XL, I would have expected that there would be a difference in performance between the terminals. Well, the reality is completely different, and the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus perform over 25% better than the Google Pixel and Pixel XL, but that's in the multi-core tests.

The iPhone 7 humbles the Google Pixel XL in single-core processing power

Here we are still talking about the multi-core test, where the iPhone 7 gets 5500 points and the Google Pixel XL gets 4176 points, the difference being 1400 points between them. If we look at the single-core test, well, the difference is much bigger, because the iPhone 7 gets a double score compared to the Google Pixel XL, and here we are talking about a real humiliation.

Basically, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have much better performance than the Google Pixel, and this in the conditions that the Google smartphone benefits from a Snapdragon 821 chip. Moreover, it also runs pure Android, so without elements to "pull" it back, so the reality, at the moment, is that the Google Pixel XL is weaker than the iPhone 7 in terms of performance.
