iOS 10 – Shazam identifies songs in messages

The benefits of integrating applications in the Messages application a iOS 10 are revealed again, but this time by the people from Shazam, who launched a very interesting extension. Now users who hear an interesting song can use the Shazam application directly from Messages, of the iOS 10 operating system thanks to a smart extension.

In the image below you can see how this system works, the Shazam application opening its extension directly in the Messages of iOS 10 when we want to identify a song. At that moment, the microphone of our terminal is activated, and the device "listens" to be able to identify the respective song and tell us what its name is.

After identification, the Shazam application extension allows us to view the song in Shazam, or to share information about it to any friends via iMessage. Accessing the respective song based on the information displayed by the Shazam application will open this application, or I recommend you to download it directly from the AppStore.

The idea is very good because you can very quickly find out the name of a song even when you are in a conversation with a certain person, something impossible to do in other conditions. The Shazam app is available for free download from the AppStore, and the extension for the Messages app is available in its latest version.
