iPhone 7 Plus - what I don't like about the Portrait function

Pennant function a 7 iPhone Plus it's called Portrait and we're talking about a module implemented in the Camera from application iOS 10, giving us the opportunity to record pictures with bokeh effect. Called the depth effect by the Apple company, this system applies a blur effect on the background of the photos, which appear to be taken with a DSLR-type device, keeping the proportions.

Apple says that the Portrait function is now offered in beta format and that it learns from every picture we take, an artificial intelligence system being implemented in iOS 10. For this reason, the function is still in the works and is to be officially offered only when iOS 10.1 will be released by Apple, i.e. probably next month.

Although 3 beta versions of iOS 10.1 have been released, so far we haven't seen any improvement for a rather annoying problem with the iPhone 7 Plus Portrait function. More precisely, if you record a picture with the bust of a person, or with a small object, that picture will have the bokeh effect applied to the background without problems.

If, instead, you try to record a picture in which you capture a whole person with a background behind them, well, the Portrait function starts to show its limitations. It is extremely difficult to include an entire person in a picture using the portrait function, or at least my iPhone 7 Plus had great difficulty in doing so.

This problem has existed since the first day when the Portrait function was offered together with iOS 10.1, and until now it has not been solved in any way by the Apple company. This depth effect should not only be available for close-up photos, but also for photos in which you capture an entire person, or at least that's what happens with DSLRs.

Those from Apple still haven't found a formula to offer everything as well as possible on the iPhone 7 Plus, unfortunately. Moreover, Apple has not solved the problem of the blur that is applied a few millimeters away from the object in the foreground, the problem dates back to the first beta version and I think it will also exist in the final version of iOS 10.1.

Even if the Portrait function is offered in beta format, some problems persist and I don't think they will be solved until the final version appears.
