Returning the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung customers must choose between another product of the company, a refund, or a competing product, plus a possible difference. This last option would send many Samsung customers to Apple and iPhone 7, but those from Huawei will also have a share of people's attention.
According to the analyst, millions of people who used to buy Samsung products would have lost their trust in the Korean company and would choose the iPhone 7 or other Huawei products. It seems that the vast majority of those who intend to leave Samsung have owned an iPhone terminal in the past, so we are talking about users without loyalty to any brand.

It is difficult to say how many of those who bought iPhone 7 belong to this category, but it is clear that some Samsung customers will definitely give up the brand. Others, on the other hand, even refuse to return their Galaxy Note 7 terminals, in their naivety, so it remains to be seen in the end how much Apple will earn from this device.
According to this analyst, 12 million orders for the Galaxy Note 7 have been registered worldwide, an absolutely remarkable figure, and at least half of these will be redirected to Apple. The rest will be shared between Samsung and the rest of the Android terminal manufacturers, with users having many options from this point of view.
"Consumers that have switched from Note 7 to iPhone after the recall and halted production can be identified as having the following characteristics: (1) no trust in the Samsung brand anymore; (2) could be former iOS users; (3) like dual camera feature; and (4) like the subsidy packages of telecom operators (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were the most promoted flagship models in September).”
All analysts give very high chances that iPhone 7 sales will increase substantially due to the problems that the Galaxy Note 7 had in recent weeks. In reality, it is unlikely that we will find out whether or not Apple will gain anything from this fiasco.
