Apple is returning the money spent on MacBook Pro adapters to customers

On Friday, the Apple company announced that it is temporarily reducing the prices of adapters for the MacBook Pro in order to appease customers upset by the fact that the new laptops do not have USB-A ports. The decision of those from Apple was taken after a great deal of pressure applied in the press and on social networks, this being a first for those from Cupertino.

Despite this, Apple has significantly reduced the prices of MacBook Pro adapters, and now it has started to return the money to those who have already bought them. It would have been incorrect for Apple to continue to charge full price for adapters already purchased and a lower price for those who buy them from Friday onwards, so all the original customers started getting their money back.

This whole situation proved, if it was needed, that the world is not yet ready to make the transition from USB-A to USB-C. Apple is trying to force this, but it's doing it in an extremely bad way, forcing customers who spend $1500 on a laptop to spend another few hundred dollars on adapters they wouldn't normally need.

Tim Cook and his managers thought very badly about this complete removal of the USB-A ports from the new MacBook Pro, especially since users cannot even connect an iPhone without an adapter, the situation itself being extraordinarily embarrassing and stupid.

"Thank you for your recent Apple Online Store purchase.

Apple recently lowered the price of the USB-C to Lightning Cable (1m) you ordered. We are pleased to inform you that we will provide you with a credit for the difference between the price you paid and the new, lower price.
