This is how smartphones are produced and tested in China

If you've ever wondered what the inside of a production line for smartphones looks like, well, in the video clip below you have a demonstration as clear as possible. You can see there how Chinese employees work to assemble Android terminals that are sold not only in their country, but also in other stores on the planet.

The production line is a normal one for a manufacturer without too many claims and you can see how many hands a smartphone goes through before it is fully assembled. The process is quite short in duration, but quite painstaking, considering that many components must be assembled manually and some soldering must be done by employees.

The even more unusual part is that the testing is done manually, not by running a special software that checks all the functions of the respective smartphone. This latter procedure does not necessarily ensure a more effective quality control, but perhaps some problems can be more easily discovered that a software would ignore.

Apple's iPhones are assembled somewhat similarly, people being involved in the process of mounting some of the components in the case. However, quality testing is done in a completely different way, without manually calling different numbers to test the mobile phone function of the terminal.

So what do you think?
