Microsoft will release the Surface smartphone in 2017

The Microsoft company is going to launch in 2017 the first smartphones under the Surface brand, or at least that's what the president Satya Nadella made clear in a recent interview. He stated that Microsfot is carrying out innovative research projects, which will result in the launch of competitive smartphones in the next period.

Trying to bring a revolutionary product to the market, those from Microsoft are trying to produce a smartphone that stands out from the rest through the functions it offers. In this idea, Microsoft will not launch its smartphone until it has enough new functions to be really attractive, both for the consumer and for companies.

Everyone is currently waiting for the launch of a Surface Phone to complete the Surface product line that Microsoft currently has. For more than a year, there have been speculations about the possible launch of such a product, but so far nothing has materialized in a powerful smartphone.

In 2017, those from Microsoft will probably want to become more competitive in the smartphone market with a terminal that will really attract attention, but it is hard to say what they will manage to bring truly new. Despite this, it is clear that Microsoft wants to innovate and I for one am very curious to see what they have prepared for us in the near future.

"We don't want to be driven by just envy of what others have, the question is, what can we bring? That's where I look at any device form factor or any technology, even AI. We will continue to be in the phone market not as defined by today's market leaders, but by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the most ultimate mobile device."
