Instagram has long since launched a feature called Stories, which allows you to post photos and video clips that will not appear in your profile, but will be visible to those who follow you, in a slideshow format, for up to 24 hours. This is a great way to share more on Instagram without "polluting" the feed with dozens of photos and videos that you wouldn't have published otherwise.
What many don't know, and this is strictly for them, is the fact that you can make Instagram Stories using the pictures already in the photo library, not just snapshots.
So here it is how to make Instagram Stories using photos and videos from the photo library:
- In the Instagram application, press the + sign in the upper left corner to add a new "story". This will take you into camera mode.
- In this way you can choose to record a video or a photo. But what we want to do is to enter our photo library and use an already existing picture. To do this, simply drag down the screen, and the Image Picker will appear.
