macOS 10.12.2 fixes MacBook Pro battery issues

Despite the fact that Apple made a stupid change in macOS 10.12.12, those who installed the update claim that the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar battery problems have been solved. I told you the other day that Apple eliminated the system that estimates the battery autonomy that users are going to have, because it incorrectly estimates the period of use.

However, following the elimination of this system, users of the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar claim that the autonomy of macOS 10.12.2 is better than that of previous versions. In this idea, it seems that the trick thought by the Apple company worked, and its customers seem to be satisfied with the period of use they now get for the new Apple laptops.

Those who monitored the autonomy of the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar battery using various applications, noticed that after installing macOS 10.12.2, the general consumption of the laptops decreased. In this sense, battery monitoring applications now display usage periods of up to 9 hours for new Apple laptop models, which is close to what the company promises.

Apple did not talk about possible improvements in the way the new MacBook Pros manage battery power, or if power consumption has been reduced. In this idea, it remains to be seen how many people will confirm what only some of the people who have installed macOS 10.12.2 on their own laptops are saying now.

"Ok it's official. macOS Sierra 10.12.2 fixed my battery. I am back to 9-10 hours of regular use. Before updating, idle power consumption was not going lower than 6 watts. On macOS Sierra 10.12.2, it is now <4 watts at 60% brightness with the ambient light sensor on. Before the update it was getting 7-9 hours with 50-60% brightness. Now getting >10 hours with 70-75% brightness with the same workload (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on of course)."
