Apple is withdrawing Withings products from stores

Just one day after Nokia finalized its plan to filed 40 lawsuits against the Apple company in 11 countries around the world, here we see the first victim. All the products from Withings were "pulled" from Apple Stores all over the planet, so that starting last night no one can buy them from the Apple company.

In case you forgot, those from Nokia bought Withings during this year for 192 million dollars, and the move from Apple is as logical as possible. It is absurd to continue selling the products of a company that has filed 40 lawsuits against you and is trying to blackmail you, if we are to believe those from Cupertino and the lawsuits filed by them.

Apple did exactly the same thing when Bose filed a lawsuit against Beats over a contract with the NFL, but the dispute was settled and Bose products returned to the Apple Store in December 2014. Now Withings products, sold by Nokia, will goes through a similar process, and depending on the outcome of the processes between the companies, the products may or may not return to the Apple Store.

Withings applications have not yet disappeared from the AppStore, but there is a good chance that they will no longer be present there starting today, despite the closure of the online store. Those from Apple will wage a war of attrition with Nokia, and the withdrawal of Withings products from the Apple Store will definitely affect Nokia's earnings in the coming months, or maybe even the next years.
