Apple humiliated its competition in activating new terminals for Christmas

The Apple company had an extremely profitable Christmas, according to some information that appeared last evening from an American company. More precisely, it seems that the number of mobile terminals activated during Christmas was 2 times higher for Apple compared to the rest of the competing manufacturers, this being a real achievement.

According to Flurry Analytics, 44% of the mobile terminals activated during Christmas week were produced by Apple, while only 21% were produced by Samsung. The difference is very big and reveals again the fact that Apple products are very popular at the moment, much more popular than Samsung's.

In the case of those from Samsung, there are 1% more activations compared to the same period last year, the difference being the smallest in the case of Koreans. However, the differences between Samsung and the rest of the manufacturers are extremely large, as large as those between Apple and Samsung, and this says a lot about consumer preferences.

Moving now to the screen size of mobile terminals, it seems that terminals with medium-sized screens remain the most popular, although phablets have grown in popularity. Practically, their percentage increased by 10% compared to the same period last year, mobile terminals with medium-sized screens and small tablets losing popularity.

It is not known how many mobile terminals were sold in 2016 during the Christmas period, so we cannot make a comparison with 2015 and we do not know if their popularity decreased.
