Apple Campus 2 – a 1.7 gigapixel image shows all the details

An image of 1.7 gigapixels, or 34,111 x 49,487 pixels, with Apple Campus 2 was published yesterday, showing in detail the entire construction in Cupertino. We are talking about a very high resolution image that was recorded from the air, it includes the entire space where Apple Campus 2 is currently being built.

Over time I have seen a variety of images recorded from drones in the area where Apple Campus 2 is built, but this is the first one at such a high resolution. Moreover, it is recorded directly over the area where Apple Campus 2 was built and shows us much more clearly the positioning of all the buildings and how much has been completed of each one.

The final image was recorded using a PhaseOne iXA-RS1000 camera, and the quality is worthy of such a high resolution image. this is the largest and clearest image taken so far for Apple Campus 2, and as the entire construction nears completion, we will probably see similar ones recorded on location.

You can see the whole image in this website.
